If you are looking for light, fun and romantic books to read this summer, I recommend the following books:

1

The Unexpected Everything.

When I saw the cover of this book, I knew I had to read it immediately.

This book made me happy, it has everything it needs to be a fun and romantic book.

I loved the vibe it gives off of teenage summer and it ultimately made me want to be a part of the book and be with all the characters.

It is easy to read, the plot keeps you entertained and it is not boring or predictable. It's one of those books that you realize you already finished when you think you just started.

The activities that Andie's friends do are quite fun and make you laugh sometimes. You also fall totally in love with Clark. He is one of those nerdy boys but with a bad boy vibe that you absolutely want to have a boyfriend like him. He is so damn cute! ( and a little bit sexy ;) )

This is not a cliche book, it is quite fun and you will be satisfied in the romantic sense. I totally recommend this book.

Note: With this book I realized that nerdy guys can be quite interesting. I also wanted to take my neighbors' dogs out for a walk.

Here is a brief review:

"Andie had it all planned out. When you are a politician’s daughter who’s pretty much raised yourself, you learn everything can be planned or spun, or both. Especially your future. Important internship? Check. Amazing friends? Check. Guys? Check (as long as we’re talking no more than three weeks).

But that was before the scandal. Before having to be in the same house with her dad. Before walking an insane number of dogs. That was before Clark and those few months that might change her whole life. Because here’s the thing—if everything’s planned out, you can never find the unexpected. And where’s the fun in that?"

2

Paper Princess.

So this book it really kept me amused.

At first I thought it would be a cliche romance, but it turned out I was wrong. It's not one of those stories where the sweet girl falls in love with the bad boy and everyone is happy in the end. Oh no, this book is definitely not like that.

Ella is one of those girls that is not afraid of anything and has a badass personality.

There is so much teen drama in high school and in their lives that you never get bored.

You truly fall in love with all the Royal brothers and truly desire to be in Ellas place, she lives surrounded by too many handsome boys and lives in a mansion, everyone's dream.

The ending is so unexpected that you need to read the second book right away.

To be totally honest, the first 3 books are the most worthwhile for me, the last 2 I didn't love, but if you read the first books and you happen to be big fans of Easton, then you should read all 5.

The first 3 books tell about the life of Ella and Reed and the last 2 books tell the story of Hartley and Easton.

Note: I have an emotional conflict between which brother Royal I love the most, they are all so different but so unique. ( And also, all of them are so hot...)

Here is a brief review:

"Ella Harper is a survivor—a pragmatic optimist. She’s spent her whole life moving from town to town with her flighty mother, struggling to make ends meet and believing that someday she’ll climb out of the gutter. After her mother’s death, Ella is truly alone.

Until Callum Royal appears, plucking Ella out of poverty and tossing her into his posh mansion among his five sons who all hate her. Each Royal boy is more magnetic than the last, but none as captivating as Reed Royal, the boy who is determined to send her back to the slums she came from.

Reed doesn’t want her. He says she doesn’t belong with the Royals.

HE MIGHT BE RIGHT."

Love & Gelato.

This book was cute and entertaining.

This book is ideal if you need a break from real life and want to read something without much drama and having romantic moments.

I liked the way the story is told, it is written in such detail describing Italy and the charm of its streets and historical places.

I also liked that it is not a book that focuses only on romance, there are also friendship issues, it shows how Lina finds it difficult to make new friends and how she gets to know the story of her mother, of what her life was like in Italy .

In the sense of the love relationship between the characters, let's say it did not leave me completely satisfied, I was left wanting chapters with more romantic moments. What I liked about this book was how it transports you to a world where there are very handsome Italian boys and a lot of gelato.

This book is ideal if you need a break from real life and want to read something without much drama but with romantic moments.

Note: With this book you’ll get a massive craving for gelato and for a handsome italian boy, but the most feasible thing is to go to the super market to buy a gallon of ice cream.

Here is a brief review:

"Lina is spending the summer in Tuscany, but she isn’t in the mood for Italy’s famous sunshine and fairy-tale landscape. She’s only there because it was her mother’s dying wish that she get to know her father. But what kind of father isn’t around for sixteen years? All Lina wants to do is get back home.

But then she is given a journal that her mom had kept when she lived in Italy. Suddenly Lina’s uncovering a magical world of secret romances, art, and hidden bakeries. A world that inspires Lina, along with the ever-so-charming Ren, to follow in her mother’s footsteps and unearth a secret that has been kept for far too long. It’s a secret that will change everything she knew about her mother, her father—and even herself.

People come to Italy for love and gelato, someone tells her, but sometimes they discover much more."

The Simple Wild.

This book is not as light and there is more drama about adults than teenagers.

I enjoy this book because the plot does entertain you and it is a mixture of everything, it talks about topics like family, new friends, finding love and getting out of your comfort zone.

I liked the father daughter relationship between Calla and Wren, and the tension filled parts between Calla and Jonah are quite exciting, it's one of those stories enemies to lovers, and you get to enjoy it a lot.

You become fond of all the characters and I also liked that it is a realistic book, they are not one of those books where the girl arrives in a new city, meets her father and everyone is happy forever. The end left me happy and satisfied, I liked the combination of romantic and realistic. If you are looking for a book that leaves you wanting to have an unusual romance, I recommend this book.

Note: It wouldn't hurt to go out with a strong and hot pilot. I think we all agree that we want a Jonah in our lives.

Here is a brief review:

"Calla Fletcher wasn't even two when her mother took her and fled the Alaskan wild, unable to handle the isolation of the extreme, rural lifestyle, leaving behind Calla’s father, Wren Fletcher, in the process. Calla never looked back, and at twenty-six, a busy life in Toronto is all she knows. But when Calla learns that Wren’s days may be numbered, she knows that it’s time to make the long trip back to the remote frontier town where she was born.

She braves the roaming wildlife, the odd daylight hours, the exorbitant prices, and even the occasional—dear God—outhouse, all for the chance to connect with her father: a man who, despite his many faults, she can’t help but care for. While she struggles to adjust to this rugged environment, Jonah—the unkempt, obnoxious, and proud Alaskan pilot who helps keep her father’s charter plane company operational—can’t imagine calling anywhere else home. And he’s clearly waiting with one hand on the throttle to fly this city girl back to where she belongs, convinced that she’s too pampered to handle the wild.

Jonah is probably right, but Calla is determined to prove him wrong. Soon, she finds herself forming an unexpected bond with the burly pilot. As his undercurrent of disapproval dwindles, it’s replaced by friendship—or perhaps something deeper? But Calla is not in Alaska to stay and Jonah will never leave. It would be foolish of her to kindle a romance, to take the same path her parents tried—and failed at—years ago. It’s a simple truth that turns out to be not so simple after all."

Alex, Approximately.

I really enjoyed this book.

I was entertained by the "mystery" that was between the characters, I found everything Bailey was doing funny to discover who "Alex" was and when he finally realized who he was, my heart jumped with happiness. All the characters are quite funny, especially Bailey's dad.

The aim of the book is not about giving the book a completely mysterious sense, it is a bit obvious to guess who "Alex" is, but that does not mean that the book is predictable or boring, the interesting thing about the book is seeing Bailey and the conflict she feels when not wanting to fall in love with someone other than "Alex" and seeing the relationship that begins with hatred for Porter, but in the end she realizes that he is not so bad. This book is light, fun and a little bit addictive, so you will finish it in a couple of days.

I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cute love story.

Note: I would like to have Bailey's life, she lives on the beach, her dad is very cool and she met a boy worthy of loving sighs.

Here is a brief review:

"Classic movie buff Bailey “Mink” Rydell has spent months crushing on a witty film geek she only knows online by “Alex.” Two coasts separate the teens until Bailey moves in with her dad, who lives in the same California surfing town as her online crush.

Faced with doubts (what if he’s a creep in real life—or worse?), Bailey doesn’t tell Alex she’s moved to his hometown. Or that she’s landed a job at the local tourist-trap museum. Or that she’s being heckled daily by the irritatingly hot museum security guard, Porter Roth—a.k.a. her new arch-nemesis. But life is whole lot messier than the movies, especially when Bailey discovers that tricky fine line between hate, love, and whatever-it-is she’s starting to feel for Porter.

And as the summer months go by, Bailey must choose whether to cling to a dreamy online fantasy in Alex or take a risk on an imperfect reality with Porter. The choice is both simpler and more complicated than she realizes, because Porter Roth is hiding a secret of his own: Porter is Alex…Approximately."

Here is a brief review:

"Rosa Santos is cursed by the sea-at least, that's what they say. Dating her is bad news, especially if you're a boy with a boat.

Between her abuela, a beloved healer and pillar of their community, and her mother, an artist who crashes in and out of her life like a hurricane. As her college decision looms, Rosa collides - literally - with Alex Aquino, the mysterious boy with tattoos of the ocean whose family owns the marina. With her heart, her family, and her future on the line, can Rosa break a curse and find her place beyond the horizon?"

Flipped.

Coming soon...

Note:

Here is a brief review:

"Flipped is a romance told in two voices. The first time Juli Baker saw Bryce Loski, she flipped. The first time Bryce saw Juli, he ran. That’s pretty much the pattern for these two neighbors until the eighth grade, when, just as Juli is realizing Bryce isn’t as wonderful as she thought, Bryce is starting to see that Juli is pretty amazing. How these two teens manage to see beyond the surface of things and come together makes for a comic and poignant romance."
